SUMMARY:Living Well in the Community
DESCRIPTION:With MHI Facilitators\, during the Orientation and Goal Setting session\, participants will identify how their life is now and how they would like it to be. Like most people\, you probably love some parts of it and wish you could change other parts. People who work toward meaningful goals are more likely to learn and practice skills for healthy and independent living. This session helps participants identify what is important in their lives\, choose achievable goals that support their life values and build their sense of fulfillment\, and then write specific goal statements.

DESCRIPTION:Participants will meet MHI staff at Delicias Restaurant to enjoy choosing lunch foods from a menu of Guatemalan\, Mexican\, and Salvadorian dishes. Participants will practice using robots and AI while placing and receiving their orders. This will allow everyone an opportunity to interact with advanced technology in an everyday setting. By participating in this Funday Monday event\, participants will be out in their community socializing with their peers and reducing any feelings of isolation.
