DESCRIPTION:Participant will practice their cooking skills by helping make Rice Krispies Treats for dessert. They will review the recipe before starting the cooking process\, gather and measure ingredients\, follow recipe steps\, and clean-up directions. Participant will get to taste their finished product and take home a copy of the step-by-step recipe (including clean-up directions). This will enable the individual to be better equipped for independently using the microwave to make dessert.

Participants will enjoy the opportunity to eat at a small business specializing in allergen-free foods. For easier accessibility in the Historic District\, use the parking lot at 3rd and Michigan and enter through the back of the building. Participants will enjoy a healthy lunch\, interact with their peers out in the community\, while having the opportunity to support local gardeners and farmers.
