SUMMARY:Independence Through Resilience – Task Analysis: Owning Your Role and Contributions
DESCRIPTION:A potential barrier in the workplace that many young adults struggle with is identifying their role\, its responsibilities\, and the impact their role and actions have on the rest of the team. During this training\, we’ll engage in activities focused on analyzing sample work tasks and roles\, understanding how to ask/determine who supervisors are\, and putting together a “picture” of each role within an organization or even a family/peer group has an impact on the others. By participating in this training\, participants will be better equipped at analyzing future job descriptions and tasks and recognizing workplace cultures and dynamics. \n

DESCRIPTION:Participants will decorate/paint two Spring-themed cookies with royal icing. After decorating cookies\, they can eat or take home their artfully decorated cookies. It is suggested that everyone bring something to drink. Participants will have a chance to socialize with their peers while decorating and eating cookies.
