SUMMARY:Youth Advisory Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Participant will hear feedback from advocates about the findings on doors for local restaurants\, stores\, and medical facilities and create an action plan for advocating for modifications to any doors that do not meet ADA requirements. By hearing from advocates and creating an action plan as a group\, the consumer will be able to strengthen skills relating to advocacy and teamwork\, while also getting hands-on experience with advocating for change within their local community
