SUMMARY:Peer Collective Workshop – Successful Conversations
DESCRIPTION:During this workshop\, participants will: assess their own communication strategies\, learn communication skills and conversation tips for new relationships\, consider how disability and cultural differences might influence how they relate to others\, discuss how social context matters in approaching new conversations and check in on personal support goals with their peers. By participating in this workshop\, participants will continue to improve upon their existing communication skills/strategies and have increased confidence in navigating starting or maintaining relationships within their families\, social circles\, and broader community.
