DESCRIPTION:Come out and participate in the Community Hurricane Preparedness Fair on Saturday 05/30/2026\, from 10AM to 2PM\,  at the Historic Galveston Water & Electric Light Community Center on 715 30th Street\, Galveston\, TX. The fair will have representatives from the National Weather Service\, the Texas Division of Emergency Management\, and many other preparedness and recovery experts. The fair will also have numerous vendors that specialize in helping families\, pets\, and senior citizens prepare their homes for hurricane season. If transportation is a barrier and you would otherwise like to attend\, please register for FREE transportation.
