Objective:
Students will learn about activities that can develop their vocational skills.
Assessment:
Participants will visit different skill areas and complete activities as part of a “Vocational Skill Development Passport”. Then, participants will practice their cooking skills by helping make peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes. They will review the recipe before starting the cooking process, gather and measure ingredients, follow recipe steps, and clean-up directions. Participants will get to taste their finished product. This will enable the individual to be better equipped for independently using a griddle to make breakfast and to practice vocational skills needed for various food related industries.
