Objective:
1. Students will learn about the six different career interest areas based on the Holland Codes.
2. Students will learn about traditional and nontraditional jobs associated with the six different career interest areas.
3. Students will learn about the barriers that may challenge them when obtaining nontraditional jobs.
Assessment:
Participants will finish watching a selection of videos of potential careers that fall under the different interest categories. They will then review a PowerPoint that will allow them to learn about traditional and nontraditional jobs that many within the disability community have worked at. Students will circle their preferences on the worksheets in their workbooks.
