Participants will practice their knife skills and using the oven to make Black Bean Dip and Cheesy Tomatoes. They will review the recipes before starting the cooking process, gather, clean, and cut ingredients, follow recipe steps, and clean up directions. Participant will get to taste their finished product and take home a copy of the step-by-step recipes (including clean-up directions) if wanted. This will enable the individual to be better equipped for independently using their knife skills, can opener, and oven to prepare a snack or side dish.
