Participants will practice their knife and cooking skills by helping make a Tomato and Arugula Balsamic Pasta Salad. They will review the recipe before starting the cooking process, gather and measure ingredients, follow recipe steps, review and use safe knife skills, and clean up directions. Participants will get to taste their finished product. A copy of the step-by-step recipe (including clean-up directions) will be emailed to each participant. This will enable the individual to be better equipped for independently using their knife skills and stove top to make a side dish, or light lunch/dinner. NOTE: This recipe is gluten and dairy free.
