Participants will learn about OSHA and safe working conditions, how to identify potential workplace hazards, taking personal responsibility for health/safety and informing employers of illness and injury, how to disclose their disability and when, practice requesting accommodations in a clear manner that employers understand.

Participants will meet at Cinemark NASA and XD in Webster to watch the movie Glisten and the Merry Mission. This is a holiday movie Rated G and runs between 11:30 am and 1:29 pm. Business & Administrative: This training will focus on the Business and Administrative Career field. Participants will become knowledgeable about the education and training, career areas, projected job growth, and employment and wages as it relates to this particular career field. The training will involve interactive discussions, activities, viewing of videos, and a question-and-answer session.

Participants in this training, will understand the expectations their future employers will have, in regards to their behavior and will also know what behaviors they can expect from their employers.

Participant will practice their baking skills by helping make cupcakes to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. They will review the recipe before starting the baking process, gather and measure ingredients, follow recipe steps, and clean-up directions. During this training, participants will do a variety of hand's on activities, where they will learn :how to complete a W-4 form and its purpose, how to complete an I-9 form and identify the required supporting documentation, how to read their paystubs and paycheck and verify that the info is correct,

Participants in this training, participants will gather additional insight on what it means to work and have increased confidence in their own individual job searches

Participants will meet at the Helen Hall Public Library to socialize with their peers while enjoying snacks and a Virtual Trip or Movie Streaming. Bring a blanket or quilt and pillow. The consumer will have a chance to practice their communication skills and make new friendships.
