Participants will practice their measuring and cooking skills by helping make Oven-Baked Tuscan Meatballs. They will review the recipe before starting the cooking process, gather and measure ingredients, follow recipe steps, review and use safe raw meat handling skills, and clean up directions. Participants will get to taste their finished product and take home a copy of the step-by-step recipe, which includes clean-up directions. This will enable the individual to be better equipped to independently handle raw meat safely, use their measuring skills, and oven to make a snack or meal.
