Participants will bring 1898 history to life by touring and participating in activities at the West Bay Common School Children’s Museum. This one room schoolhouse was built in 1894. You will have a history lesson using lap slates, listen to a player piano while dancing, participate in 1890 outdoor games like hoop and stick, receive a well pump lesson, and explore the life and times of this town through a display of artifacts and exhibits. Participants will learn about the history of their community while socializing with their peers.
