With MHI Facilitator support, in the Healthy Communication and Reactions session, participants explore the different components of communication, how they can change their thoughts to reduce the frustration they may feel, and how healthy reactions to problems can help them stay motivated. Healthy communication skills are important for living well. Experiencing setbacks and obstacles is a normal part of working to achieve quality of life goals, but it is also frustrating. Learning to react to problems in a healthy way can reduce frustration when the path ahead becomes difficult. Practicing the techniques of active listening as well as the art of developing a clear message can help people get the support they need to achieve goals.
